6g Citrulline, 200mg Caffeine, Transparent Everyday Performance

Bucked Up All-Natural Pre-Workout keeps things balanced for everyday use: enough energy and focus to get you going, solid pump to make training feel better, and endurance help that pays off with regular scoops—without going overboard on stims or throwing in everything but the kitchen sink. The label's fully open—no prop blends here. It's anchored by 6,000mg citrulline malate, 2,000mg beta-alanine, and 200mg caffeine anhydrous.

The star for performance is citrulline malate at 6g. It boosts arginine levels better than taking arginine straight, since it skips heavy breakdown in your gut and liver, then turns into arginine in the kidneys to crank up nitric oxide. That means wider blood vessels, better flow to your muscles, and a pump you can actually see and feel longer. 6g is a legit dose in pre-workouts—right where it starts making a real difference in your lifts.

Beta-alanine comes in at 2,000mg. It helps make carnosine, which is like a sponge for the acid buildup in your muscles during tough sets. That's key for high-intensity stuff lasting 1-10 minutes, where that burn can shut you down. Studies show 3,200-6,400mg daily is the sweet spot, so 2g isn't full throttle—but it's still solid, especially if you're using this daily or getting more from other supps. You might feel that tingle, but the real win builds up over time.

Caffeine anhydrous at 200mg is the formula’s stimulant anchor. This is a moderate dose—enou

Bucked Up Natural Pre by Bucked Up contains 100mcg Vitamin B12, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate — this drives the pump and blood flow. At 6g, it's a strong dose that helps with nitric oxide and gives you that full, lasting muscle feel that weak pre-workouts miss.
  • 200mg Caffeine Anhydrous — a solid, gym-friendly stim level most people notice without getting wired out. It boosts alertness, drive, and intensity, way more usable than those 300-400mg monsters.
  • 2,000mg Beta-Alanine — here to help with muscle endurance by loading up carnosine over time. Full research doses are 3.2-6.4g daily, so this is under that, but it adds up nicely in a daily pre and shines with steady use.
  • 200mg AlphaSize® — branded alpha-GPC for better focus and mind-muscle connection. It turns caffeine's energy into sharp training vibes, helping you stay locked in and feel the moves.
  • Fully disclosed label — everything's listed with exact doses. In a world of hidden blends, this transparency lets you know what you're really getting.
  • 100mcg Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin — they went with the active form to support energy metabolism. It's smart for high-volume trainers or anyone short on B12.
  • 100mg Himalayan Rock Salt — a small touch that helps with hydration and muscle work during sessions. It pairs well with the pump stuff by keeping fluids balanced.
  • 100mg Taurine — supports cell hydration, calcium flow, and nerve-muscle function. This dose is low compared to 1-3g in studies, so think of it as backup, not the main event.

Who Is This For?

  • Intermediate lifters on hypertrophy plans wanting real pumps, steady energy, and sharp focus without jumping to 350mg+ caffeine. 6g citrulline malate and 200mg caffeine anchor it, AlphaSize® boosts mind-muscle.
  • Regular gym folks training 4-6 days who need a pre they can actually use often. Balanced, open label, moderate stims for real performance support.
  • Morning crew needing quick wake-up before work, without harsh jitters. 200mg caffeine gives clear energy, AlphaSize® directs it to focus.
  • Evening trainers wanting a solid boost but not sleep-ruining mega-stims. 200mg is way easier to handle.
  • Athletes with repeat intense efforts like circuits or accessories, benefiting from nitric oxide and buffering. Citrulline helps flow, beta-alanine fights fatigue over time.
  • Transparency fans who want to know every detail. Full doses listed make it easy to check and stack.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 6-8 oz cold water, down it 20-30 minutes pre-training. Caffeine hits quick, and it gives focus and flow time to build before heavy sets. If you're stim-sensitive or new, half-scoop first to test—200mg is still noticeable. Use a shaker for even mix; ice makes it nicer if you like cold. Empty stomach speeds it up, but if it bugs your gut, eat light 60-90 minutes before. Don't stack close with other caffeine unless you're tracking totals. No need for strict cycles, but occasional breaks keep caffeine fresh. Store sealed, cool, and dry to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

0-10 minutes: Mixes easy, gets you shifting to gym mode. 10-20 minutes: 200mg caffeine brings clean alertness and motivation; maybe some tingles from 2g beta-alanine. 20-40 minutes: Prime time for sets—focus sharpens, 6g citrulline malate delivers fuller pumps. 40-90 minutes: Energy holds steady, not crazy—fits the moderate vibe for quality training without crashing. Days 1-7: You feel the instant stuff like energy, focus, pump. Weeks 2-4: Beta-alanine kicks in more as carnosine rises, making hard sets easier. Best with steady use, not one-and-done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Bucked Up All-Natural Pre-Workout?

Each 1-scoop serving provides 200mg caffeine anhydrous. That puts it firmly in the moderate-stim range—strong enough for most users to feel in training, but more manageable than the 300-400mg caffeine doses common in high-stim pre-workouts.

Is 6,000mg citrulline malate a good dose?

Yes. 6g citrulline malate is a strong, performance-relevant amount for a pre-workout and is meaningfully better than the 3-4g doses often seen in underpowered formulas. It supports nitric oxide production, vasodilation, and the fuller pump most users want to actually feel in the gym.

Is the beta-alanine dose clinically dosed?

Not fully. Beta-alanine is included at 2,000mg, while the classic research-backed daily range is typically 3,200-6,400mg. That means this formula provides a useful contribution, but users seeking textbook full-dose beta-alanine loading may want additional standalone beta-alanine.

What does AlphaSize® do in this formula?

AlphaSize® is a branded alpha-GPC ingredient included at 200mg to support focus, attention, and mind-muscle connection. It complements caffeine by making the energy feel more directed and training-specific rather than simply more stimulating.

Will this pre-workout make me tingle?

Possibly. The 2,000mg beta-alanine dose can produce paresthesia—the harmless tingling sensation some users feel in the face, ears, or hands. Not everyone feels it the same way, and it is not a measure of how well the product is working.

How long before training should I take Bucked Up All-Natural Pre-Workout?

Take 1 scoop about 20-30 minutes before your workout. That gives caffeine anhydrous time to begin working and lets the focus and pump-support ingredients come online before your first demanding sets.

Can I stack this with creatine?

Yes, and it is a smart stack. This formula does not include creatine, so adding 3-5g daily creatine monohydrate complements the pre-workout well by supporting phosphocreatine recycling and high-intensity output alongside beta-alanine’s buffering role.

Is this a good pre-workout for beginners?

For many beginners, yes—provided they start with half a scoop to assess caffeine tolerance. The 200mg caffeine dose is moderate by category standards, and the formula is transparent and straightforward, which makes it easier to understand than more extreme multi-stim products.

Does this formula use proprietary blends?

No. One of the strengths of Bucked Up All-Natural Pre-Workout is that it is fully disclosed, so every active ingredient and dose is printed on the label. That makes it much easier to compare honestly against research and against competing products.

What is deer antler velvet extract doing in this product?

Deer antler velvet extract is a signature Bucked Up inclusion tied to the brand’s identity. It is commonly positioned around recovery and vitality support and gives the formula a distinct Bucked Up profile that many generic pre-workouts do not have.

This is perfect - I just wish they would reprint all of the 1950's and 60's stories!
This is great - wish I had more Superman stories from the 1950's to read!! I was born in 1952 so this is something right up my alley. I am a big Superman fan and had most of the mid to late 1950'2 issues until my mom burned them when I went away to college. I understand why but still wish I had them - for many different reasons. The coloring is bright and spot-on. I even remember most of these stories - I know it's been more than 50 years ago but they were a big part of my early life. All of the stories are least good and couple are truly great. Some of the plots are little silly by todays standards but things have most definitely changed since they were written. IF you love Superman, grew-up in the 50's or just anything historical you will love this! I just wish they would reprint all the 50's and 60's stories. That is something I would most certainly buy!! My rating for this is a perfect 10 out of 10 - for me it's perfect - all I want is MORE of this!!

Superman in the wacky '50s
Format: Paperback
Love the Jerry Ordway cover, although an image from the era would have been more fitting. This may be the Superman era most of remember best, the gimmick-laden Weisinger era that made the most contributions to Superman lore. For me the best story here is the first one, in which the other survivors of Krypton's demise -- Kryptonian (here called "Kryptonites") super criminals U-Ban, Mala and Kizo -- appear for the first time. Other firsts include the first Brainiac tale, Supergirl's first appearance, and "The Last Superman of Krypton." Krypton did not play a big role in 1940s Superman stories. Curiously, Brainiac looks as we've come to know him on the cover of that comic, but less so inside. This is a decent sampling of '50s Superman tales. Much here to enjoy!

Just for Fun
You can't help, in reading these stories, remarking on how comics (and popular culture in general) reflect what we want on our minds and how we want to feel about ourselves. Superman today is intense. He fights apocalyptic battles, and he sometimes loses! There's a lot at stake -- everything, EVERYTHING, lies in the balance. Superman himself seems literaly beyond human. In order to live the life of challenges he faces, he must be beyond the concerns of everyday life -- he can't really share in the life that the rest of us live. Superman in the fifties lived in a much more comfortable, stable world, and his own life was much more continuous with ours. In these stories, he discovers that he is not alone -- his long last pal, Krypto, shows up, and he discovers his cousin, Supergirl. He has girlfriends -- Lana Lang and Lois Lane compete for his attention (without a lot of the psychological anxiety that Superman will face in the future over his inability to live a normal life and raise a normal family). The villains, like Lex Luthor, aren't even purely evil -- they have their limits. Bizarro is not evil at all, just . . . dumb and amusing so long as Superman can repair any damage he does. It's a little bit trivial to point out how comics reflect cultural reality, but . . . they do. It's fun to revisit the fifties here -- i suspect it's not so much an innocent age as one in which the story we told ourselves about ourselves (as in our Superman comics) was focused where we wanted it to be focused -- family, friends, the pleasures of everyday life. But, putting aside all the sociology and pretenses of cultural history, these stories are just fun to read. It's not the Superman we know now, it's just different, a change of pace, fun.

Fun Times
Format: Kindle
Best Collection from my youth. Although I was not born until 1957, my dad's first cousin was an avid DC Comics collector, and these 1950s stories were the bulk of my experience of Superman during my 1960s childhood. Contrast the fight against fellow survivors of Krypton in this volume with that in Man of Steel. Here are the primary colors, can-do spirit, and ultimately optimistic view of science and the future so fondly remembered by older fans. In the end, there is probably no reconciling the angry countercultural gloom and discontent of modern comics with these gems of the past, but if as I you are sick to death of the politically correct socialism, these are a much needed breath of fresh air.
