M-T3012A uses 3x12 membrane housing and does not fit standard residential housings. 3" Housings are available for purchase under part # PV3012C.

Since the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure, a carbon block filter should be used before this RO membrane element when filtering chlorinated water.

Performance specifications based on 500 ppm tap water, 70 psi (0.48 MPa) applied pressure, 77°F (25°C) feed water temperature, feed water pH 7-8 and 15% recovery. Element permeate flow may vary ± 20%.

The whole book can be summed up in 50 pages (probably less) and is simply an outline. If that's the level you are looking for then this is a great book, but if you want the nitty-gritty, look elsewhere!
