R2A Agar
R2A Agar medium is used for the detection of bacteria in water, especially in treated potable water. This is a low-nutrient medium in which a combination of longer time and lower temperature of incubation promotes the growth of stressed and chlorine-treated bacteria. Enzymatic Digest of Casein and Animal Tissue provide nitrogenous sources for bacterial growth. Yeast Extract supplies B-complex vitamins and serves as growth enhancer. Dextrose is the fermentable carbohydrate. Soluble starch serves as neutralizer, while Sodium Pyruvate stimulates the growth of stressed bacteria. Dipotassium Phosphate and Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate act as pH buffers. Agar is the gelifying agent. There is a choice of 3 sizes - 500g, 2kg, and 10kg.
PREPARATION: Mix 18.2 grams of the medium in one liter of purified water until evenly dispersed. Heat with repeated stirring to dissolve completely. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.
