DIY disco from the Pakistani pop workshop. Never ones to merely scrape the surface of a niche genre, Finders Keepers Records dig deeper still into the core of the Indian subcontinent, exhuming a concise party pack of opulent, off-center Pakistani party targets driven by the pounding drum box rhythms of some of Lollywood pop's most notorious studio scientists. Disco Dildar features rare plugged-in proxy pop from some of the country's lesser-known teen flicks spanning the late 1970s and '80s, featuring drum-heavy disco guesstimates built around multilingual lyrics celebrating Saturday nights, Disco Dildars, and Hindustani Hogmanays. These original synth-dripped 45 EPs are not from the front of the pile, nor the quirky result of some token musical tourism. The music found here once soundtracked rebellious all-nighters and hotel bar rendezvous from films of which your parents might have not approved, hence their scarce obtainability. Again, the Sound of Wonder (BMS 012 CD) team that bought you Life Is Dance (BMS038 CD/FKR 049 LP), Ilectro (BMS 049 CD), Bollywood Bloodbath (BMS 039 CD), and others shares equal doses of the excitement, wonderment, and bewilderment that comes when first needle-dropping these elusive gems. Featuring the cut-andpaste electronics and fuzz-tones of flightless super heroes such as Tafo, Ashraf, Bazmi, Rana, and Ahmed, while voiced by Mehnaz, Nahid Akhtar, Runa Laila, and Queen Noor Jehan, it is plain to hear why the work of these DIY cosmic composers have eclipsed the collectable desirability of filmic fruits, igniting dancefloors and providing sample fodder of the wider continent for Wu-Tangular producers in their stride. This workshop funk redefines both DIY and disco, revealing a whole new side to world music, and marks Pakistani pop culture's transformation from disposable and indefinable to indispensable. A Tissue Box That Finally Understands the Assignment

I tested this vintage-style tissue box cover with the same scrutiny I give freeze dryer liners and financial models—and it passed with charm and function.
Material & Build: The PU leather has a raised floral relief that mimics carved wood surprisingly well. It’s backed by MDF and lined with non-woven fabric, which makes it both sturdy and easy to wipe clean. I spilled coffee on it (not intentionally), and it didn’t flinch.
Functionality: It fits a standard rectangular tissue box and—bless it—completely hides the garish branding and neon graphics that manufacturers seem to think belong in a living room. This cover restores dignity to the humble tissue.

Never thought I'd "love" a tissue box holder but these are very nice. Weighted do the box doesn't move when you pull a tissue out. Bottom is magnetic, and they don't look cheap. Look well made. Highly recommend!

Tissues are necessary sometimes, them funky designs on the boxes aren’t. A discreet way to keep the essentials on hand, and add a touch of class. Sturdy construction. Good rich color. Very easy to refill or remove.size fits Kleenex box perfectly. And the material feels lush.

Nice box but, needs tissue springs.

These boxes are well made and elegant. I like the magnetic closure and the rear-filled design. The only thing is that you'll want to use some tissue dispenser springs underneath once the tissue is half gone so that the popup feed continues working. Putting springs in when fully loaded cannot be done because pulling out a tissue will rip them.
