The stems end with thick flowerheads with small magenta buds and large upright rich lavender pink petals on top resembling butterfly wings bloom in heavily in spring and lightly in summer. The Princess Spanish Lavender is a compact woody evergreen perennial with highly aromatic grey-green leaves.  The stems end with thick flowerheads with small magenta buds and large upright rich lavender-pink petals on top resembling butterfly wings bloom in heavily in spring and lightly in summer.  Grows best in full sun and dry to medium well drained alkaline soils.
