Danach wird eine seidenmatte schwarze Farbglasur dick auf die Becher aufgetragen. Beim anschlieenden Brand erstarrt die schwarze Glasur und das Wachs schmilzt weg, so dass der Text in Wei zum Vorschein kommt und infolge des dicken Glasurauftrags vertieft

Die Becher Svartgefallen mit weißen Schriftzügen auf schwarzem Grund. Die Dekorationstechnik ist inspiriert vom traditionellen Batik-Handwerk: Zunächst wird der Text mit Wachs auf die Becher appliziert.
